America has no Sincere friends

The United States can claim to be the benefactor of the world, and may God forbid, with many people it is the Great Provider of the daily bread. But how many countries feel sincerely grateful to it? America is giving food, money, and arms to scores of nations and aiding them in the implementation of their development plans. But what is it getting in returns?

A number of countries feel protected against external aggression because of their defence pacts and other arrangements with America. For them friendship is the greatest guarantee of peace and the prevention of their sovereignty. Yet, no one is giving thanks to it. On the contrary, they never miss an opportunity to denounce it. And undercurrent of hatred is found everywhere against it. America has no sincere friend, no true well-wisher in any part of the world.

Do the leaders of this great country not feel it? Are its thinkers blissfully unaware of this reality? No, they must be knowing that for all its dollars, what America is getting back is a kick here and a let-down there. But have they ever cared to go to the root of the matter? If they do a little self-introspection, they will find that at the base of it all lies America’s own insincerity. Its entire concept and mechanism of aid and assistance is devoid of earnestness. Its generosity is a clock for the exploitation of the weaker and the poorer nations. It gives, but not to enable them to stand on their feet. Its magnanimity is aimed at the perpetuations of their dependence upon it.

About Imran Ali

IMRAN ALI, is an up-coming writer and columnist. His studies were interrupted when he, as a child of 14, simply told his father M. Sulemen, a businessman, that he just can't get what his school teacher teaches paying little attention to the weak students of the class. So, on a promise that he'll 'study at home' he never again saw the face of the school, though he carried his studies well to fullfill the promise of his; his experience as a volunteer(a dedicated social worker) provided him with material for his articles and writings. He first gained attention with ''Aurangzed as he was'' and ''New world Order 'Vs' Just world Order'' (September 2011, The Companion, English monthly, and several other magazines), probably his finest articles. Next 10 year he coming with his debut novel, and is fully dedicated on it's research. Taken together, his articles present a broad, naturalistic picture of Indian life. His subjects include History, the Indian peasantry, the bureaucracy, life of a downtrodden Indians and have nots, the emotional problems of the different classes, and, ominously, hallucination, Very new in Style and to Approach, Combining psychoanalysis with human behaviour. His writings well captures the collective psyche of the world as a whole. He's been a district level boxer. Known as a peoples magnet in his vast friends circle, and a booklover who humorously with pride discloses, '' I've read over hundreds of books relating to arts, literature, science, metaphysics, naturopathy and psychlogy. So, the conclusion here is easy to derive, that i, who was raised from childhood in a modern muslim belief have been mostly preferring reading all kinds of books rather than writing!'' His reading since childhood, has been mostly centered around knowing the truths[truth here means of all kinds humans ever categorized, mysteries and human psyche has given me a better understanding of the human soul, mind and spirit in collaboration with my Islamic teachings.] Since he started his reading at the age of 15 reading Stories of literary giants, like Leo tolstoy, George Orwell, and Guy de muppasant and many Indian masters like Sir Mohammed Iqbal(The Poet Of the East), Margret Marcus, Leopold weiss, and Manto. And their collective influence made me search for my own moorings, adapting my father's style of srorytelling. In the beginning, there was nothing magnificent in acquiring all this, from books, as it was nothing more beside his own interest, and his interest to help morally deprived and confused men he used to meet in parties and gatherings. And amazingly, only a few years back, an up an coming, extraordinarily talented writer and one of his closest friends of his, who always loved his ideas gave rise to a writer hiding somewhere inside him. When while sipping the tea he insisted him to collect his ideas in a diary which keep on counselling youngmen of varieties every third day resulting in a great interruption in our appointed informational communication. Suddenly, at the very instinct, the idea occured in his mind of writing down these ideas effectively, concisely and pertaining to the questions of todays' youth who are short of time resolving them. And with him as his inspiration, he picked up the pen, and started unfolding, writing in the name of the architect of this whole universe. Which is none other than ''Allah.''

  1. Acts are defined as good or bad by the intentions behind them, by their underlying purpose. Thats why America is not loved by anyone inspite of being the world’s greatest aid provider, because by giving aids, she serves none but her own selfish and imperialistic motives.

  2. people of this great country should think about it.

  3. what can i say!!!
    no reason..
    no evidence…
    nothing…
    just result..
    lol!!!!
learn history nd read news papers!!!
    lolz

    • A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal

    • John Quincy Adams, Foreign Policy quotes:
[America] goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own. She will commend the general cause by the countenance of her voice, and the benignant sympathy of her example. She well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy, and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom.

    • How quick was the America shift from a Husni Mubarak supporter to a backer of a “democratic” toppling of his government… but not so surprising! After he was the friend and ally of yesterday, the US today calls on Egyptian 30-year ally Husni Mubarak to step down as it seems he is out of service.

Again that is not surprising…As once said Henry Kissinger, an integral figure in U.S. foreign policy, holding positions in the Nixon, Ford and Reagan administrations and of over a dozen books on US foreign policy and affairs, “America has NO friends, only interests”. In other words, the US has temporary allies, as long as they are useful, they will continue to have a “special” relationship with the US administration.

    • US Constitution Irrelevant in 21st Century
‘We the People’ Loses Appeal With People Around the World – NYTimes.com
The United States Constitution was once a model for charters around the world, but its influence is waning, according to a new study.“America is in danger, I think, of becoming something of a legal backwater,” Justice Michael Kirby of the High Court

  4. Aggressiveness can never be equated with sincerity,America has always been aggressive, that is quite evident from Uncle Sam posters,”I want you to…”.Although it might have won friends over by force but not the one that love it for itself.

  5. America has friends but not sincere friends, most of the peoples around the world hate America but Arab presidents can’t hate America, it is right that they are friends in benefits but you can see by the way which Arab presidents welcome America’s leaders that they are real friends…
    Ahmad Matar said:

  6. @realavnish. I agree. I dont see enough evidence to show that America has no sincere friends. One might say that America has no sincere friends in Asia and Middle East, but other western countries seem to be good (political) friends with America, having similar ideologies.

  7. History has nothing to do here as we r talking about the present condition, and as far as news papers or mass media is concerned, they work for particular lobbies and propagate according to their interests. Well, there r nations who support America in her different “ventures” and stand side by side with her, but they dont do so out of sincerety or courtesy, but to protect their own interests. They share some common interests with her and support her in order to get a share in the benefit, and also because they dont want to or cant afford to annoy the “world’s superpower”.

  8. author means sincere friend . there is no sincere friend of america thats true.

  9. then tell me how many “sincere frnd” india have…
i mean this topic is baseless,,,
sorry but now days every one’ i mean every country is planing for them self s..
how can u raise a point k some have sincere frnd nd some one havnt!!!
just grow up nd face the reality…..
    stop living in ignorance!!!!!

    • mr. Real avnsih y dont u tell us that whose sincere friends ? And do u trust media ?

      • u can see one of america’s sincere friends right here before us, thats mr. avnish himself….thus, the author’s claim is no more valid

    • The most expected response…well, u r right that every nation works for her own interests..but the author here is talking not about selfishness or selflessness but about the feelings of friendship and sincerety towards America, and the question is raised only about America because she is the world’s greatest aid provider, so many nations depend on her for their survival, and thus they should owe her the loyality and sincerety. But its not so, becauase, as pointed out by author himself, she doesnt help them to become self-sufficient and self-dependent, to make them get rid of their problems, but rather to prevent them to be so in order to maintain its control over their economies, in order to make them her slaves so that they could never go against their “master”.

  10. AMERICA willn’t have sincere friends until it get freedom from the jewish policies.
